Bill Berkman serves presently as board member for The Partnership for New York City, an association of 300 of New York City’s top corporate CEOs, which focuses on policy formulation, research, and issue advocacy. Mr. Bill Berkman also serves as board member for the Empire State Realty Trust’s, a leading real estate investment trust (REIT) headquartered in New York. He is also a member of the World Economic Forum (WEF).
Bill Berkman previously served as Director or Member of the Board for companies such as IAC/InterActiveCorp., CMGI, Teligent, Inc., Liberty Satellite & Technology, Inc., Bill is also an inventor and has co-invented over 20 communication related patents.
Mr. Bill Berkman and his wife Mrs. Ronit Berkman, a fine art photographer, are involved in the support of artistic and cultural projects. Mr. Bill Berkman is a graduate of Harvard College. Mr. Berkman’s family sponsored the creation of the Berkman Center in 1997 at Harvard Law School. The Center's mission is to explore and understand cyberspace, to study its dynamics and standards, and to evaluate the need for regulatory and legal changes.
